Inside and Outside European Union

Visitors entering Estonia from European Union member countries can use either a passport or a national identity document. Visitors from other countries must have a valid passport, and a visa if required. More information on visa requirements can be found on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Estonia.

Conference participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the visa requirements for their country well in advance of the conference. Organizers of the FM&NT-2017 conference encourage you to apply for a visa as early as possible.

Inquiries regarding visas can be directed to Estonian diplomatic representatives abroad. In case there is no Estonian diplomatic representation in your country, either Estonian representations in other countries or from other European Union member states may provide the respective service. Please see information on web. On request, the Conference secretariat will be pleased to send a letter of invitation to individual scientists. Invitations of this kind are intended to assist potential delegates with raising their travel funds or obtaining visas. They do not imply any commitment or responsibility on behalf of the conference to provide financial support.

An invitation letter request should include the following information:

Participant’s full name

Date of birth

Complete mailing address, phone and fax number

E-mail address

Professional or student status proof

Passport number, expiration date, country where issued
